3. Material Acceptance and Quality Standards

Scrap Shop reserves the right to inspect, assess, and accept or reject any materials brought to our facility based on quality, safety, and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

• Accepted Materials: Scrap Shop generally accepts non-ferrous metals, gold and silver.
• Prohibited Materials: Hazardous, toxic, or otherwise prohibited items, including but not limited to radioactive materials, explosives, or items containing significant levels of contamination or plastic, large amounts of ferrous metals and any form of tyres, will not be accepted.
• Condition: Materials must be free from contaminants. Scrap Shop reserves the right to adjust pricing or refuse materials that do not meet quality standards.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

Pricing for materials is subject to market rates, material quality, and quantity:

• Payment: Payments are made upon successful transaction completion. Payment methods and terms may vary based on the nature and volume of the transaction.
• Changes to Pricing: Scrap Shop reserves the right to modify prices at any time without notice due to market fluctuations.
• Payment Times: There are two payment runs, one at 12:00 and another at 15:00. Anything past 15:00 will be moved on to the next payment run.

5. Customer Conduct and Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe environment for all:

• Compliance with Site Rules: All visitors and customers must follow Scrap Shop’s posted rules and regulations while on-site.
• Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas of the facility. Customers and visitors are responsible for using required PPE and following all safety instructions.
• Prohibited Conduct: Theft, vandalism, or any other unsafe or illegal conduct is strictly prohibited. Scrap Shop reserves the right to refuse service or remove any individual who violates site rules or poses a safety risk.

6. Environmental and Regulatory Compliance

Scrap Shop operates in compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations:

• Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for ensuring that materials brought to Scrap Shop comply with all applicable regulations.
• Environmental Fees: Scrap Shop may charge additional fees for the handling and disposal of materials that require special processing to meet environmental standards.

7. Warranties and Liability

Scrap Shop provides services on an "as-is" basis and disclaims all warranties, express or implied:

• No Warranty on Materials: All materials purchased from Scrap Shop are sold "as-is," and Scrap Shop makes no warranties regarding quality, condition, or suitability for a particular purpose.
• Liability Limitation: Scrap Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the purchase, sale, handling, or use of materials.
• Indemnification: By using Scrap Shop’s services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scrap Shop, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our services or any violation of these Terms.

8. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final, and Scrap Shop does not accept returns or issue refunds for materials once they have left the premises. Any issues must be reported before materials are removed from the facility.

10. Modifications to Terms

Scrap Shop reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on-site and/or communicated to customers, and continued use of Scrap Shop’s services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
